Since 2012 and the renovation of our irrigation system, the Opio Valbonne Golf Club has been involved on a daily basis in preserving its resources and biodiversity.

Since 2022, the Resort has been committed to obtaining Biodiversity certification with the support of the Natural History Museum. With the support of the FFGolf, we are working with a renowned naturalist agency to help us better understand and promote the biodiversity present throughout our territory.

At the same time, the Golf Club continues its efforts to better manage its water resources (reversal of the flora on our fairways started in 2022, better management of our irrigation system, etc.).

Since 2019, three electric charging stations have been installed in the car park of our hotel, Château de la Bégude, for charging electric vehicles.

For information, the fleet of cars available to staff for the golf course and hotel already includes three electric vehicles.
