Instruction at Golf d'Opio Valbonne

The only one of its kind in the region, the Junior Golf Académie is a golf academy in Alpes-Maritimes with first-class facilities for teaching children golf and developing their game.

Your child will benefit from ongoing coaching from September to June (outside of school holidays) on two world-class 18-hole golf courses, at Opio Valbonne and Grande Bastide, and two driving ranges.

Our aim is to offer children a family environment where they can develop their game while having fun.

Our team of instructors will help students with every aspect of their game using a variety of educational tools during their lessons (including the latest generation TrackMan) and, if they are interested, prepare them for club, departmental, regional and national championships.

The Académie organises regular tournaments to assess your child’s progress.
With your input, our team will provide you with a table of information showing all the tournaments, dates of player pathway events, etc.
Fred Orselli, a long-time instructor at Opio Valbonne, will be able to guide you and answer all your questions.
The resort offers a set lunch menu that children/teenagers can enjoy before or after their lesson or game. It comprises a main course, dessert and non-alcoholic drink for 12 euros. They can also buy a book of drink vouchers valid in both golf club restaurants for one year.

Any junior who wants to access the golf courses must have a valid handicap card, a medical fitness certificate for playing golf and be a member of the Association Sportive (€20/calendar year). Memberships with access to the golf courses are valid until 15 September of the following year, including school holidays.
